Justice Delayed is Justice Denied!
The World Day for International Justice is celebrated every year on July 17. This day is also celebrated under other names: International Criminal Justice Day or International Justice Day. This day gives power to victims. They can finally stand up against crimes that have been done to them. International justice is getting stronger every day, and people need to be made aware of that. This day helps victims to fight against crimes related to war, humanity and genocide.

History:
This day is celebrated on July 17 because this is the anniversary of the passing of the Rome statue in 1998. It is the date of the adoption of the treaty that created the International Criminal Court. Since that great day in 1998, some 139 countries have signed the Court's treaty and nearly 80 states representing all regions of the world have ratified it.
Significance:
This day is observed to make people aware of the need for justice for those who have been wronged. It also draws attention to important serious issues. It also helps people to take courage and speak out about crimes that have been done to them, and it warns perpetrators of the consequences they will face if they commit a crime.
International Day of Justice 2022 Theme:
The theme of the 2022 World Day of Justice is "Achieving Social Justice through Formal Employment." Around 60 percent of the world's working population, including men, women and youth, earn their living in the informal economy. These people often lack social protection and worker-related benefits.

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied!
William E. Gladstone
There really can be no peace without justice. There can be no justice without truth. And there can be no truth, unless someone rises up to tell you the truth.
