Orientation Program 2021

It is the youth, the great and powerful resource which India has, can make it a super power !

Prof. Ajit Viswakarma inspires the first year students of LIT on the Orientation Day.

We organized an orientation program for the first year students to welcome them and introduce them to the area and campus they have chosen. The program was marked by the presence of guest Prof. Ajit Vishwkarma (Data Science/ ML Engineer), Dr. Basavraj Patil (Director, LIT), Mr. Amrat Patel (Principal, Diploma), HoDs (Diploma & Degree branches), Principals of LVS campus, and Management representatives.

The orientation program is designed not only to welcome new students to campus, but also to prepare them for the dreams and expectations they have for their chosen field and campus. It is to educate them about the facilities, resources and opportunities they will receive as a result of their decision to become part of the campus. With this theme, the program began at Dhwani Auditorium at 9 am with the traditional ritual of Deep Pragtaya, followed by the inspiring words of Dr Basavraj Patil, who congratulated the students on their decision to study engineering. He also assured the new students proper guidance, and support and to make their career fruitful and bright. He said, "It is time to promote overall personality through various activities besides academic achievements."

Following the inauguration, the first year students performed singing, solo dance, group dance, mimicry, etc. The performance made the audience proud of the skills of the young generation. Principal Mr. Amart Patel, delivered the acceptance speech. He thanked all the chief guests, Director, principals of other institutes, faculty members, coordinators, student volunteers and first year students who had contributed to the success of the event. The gathering then broke up and moved on to a light snack. The freshmen were happy and excited as they dispersed after the national anthem.
